Tribes of Midgard is a co-op game that combines elements of action, survival and roguelite. Players have to protect their village from hordes of invaders - dangerous spirits and gigantic thugs who will try every night to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil, the sacred tree guarded by you. Only by protecting the Seed, you and your tribe will be able to prevent the end of the world - Ragnarok!
Explore the wild lands of Midgard with your tribe. Get precious resources, hunt mythical creatures, defeat powerful enemies, kill giants and collect treasures. The further you get from the village, the more dangerous the tests will be and the greater the rewards - and you will need them if you hope to defeat the heralds of the apocalypse! Most importantly, do not forget to return home before sunset, otherwise you risk not having time to strengthen the defense, create powerful equipment and repel the night raid.
Dynamic survival with roguelight elements:
each game session begins with your tribe entering a new procedurally generated world, with only a bandage around their hips and an oath to save the world on their lips. Gain knowledge, meta-experience and unlock general account bonuses to resist Ragnarok for as long as possible. The longer you and the tribe hold out, the more generous your rewards will be!
Fight against mighty giants:
At night, defend the Seed of Yggdrasil from the attacking creatures of Hel and, together with the tribe, resist the threat of jotuns hanging over you - epic giants, eager to destroy both the Seed and your village to boot. If the Seed is destroyed, then the world (and the game) will end.
Write your Viking legend:
choose a class and develop your character in every game session! Explore the wilderness in search of resources for epic armor and mighty weapons. Find and use powerful runes to personalize your playstyle, then wreak havoc and craft village defenses to throw some nasty surprises at your enemies.
Gather a tribe:
When a giant appears on the battlefield, the whole village must unite to fight back! Travel Midgard solo or with up to 10 players in a multiplayer co-op PvE game. Test your Viking skills in the Saga Mode Seasonal Challenges, or customize the game to your liking and see how long you can last in Flexible Survival Mode. We recommend fighting Ragnarok with a tribe of at least four players.
Explore the enchanting northern lands:
get resources, kill legendary creatures, go down into caves, collect treasures, build and explore procedurally generated lands, over which the threat of Ragnarok hangs.
Never give up:
Free limited time seasonal events allow you to take part in difficult challenges and get incredible treasures in the late stages of the game. You will be waiting for new modes and new prizes that can be received for playing throughout the season.
