Publisher Dotemu and studio Triskell Interactive have finally announced the release date for the updated version of the city-building simulator Pharaoh. Pharaoh: A New Era Remake is out on Steam on February 15th. Fans are encouraged to add the game to their wishlist.
In the release version, players will find a campaign with 53 missions and hundreds of hours of gameplay, telling about six different periods in the history of Ancient Egypt. The game includes the add-on "Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile", which was released for the original game in 2000. You can show your city-planning talents in a free sandbox.
The developers originally planned to release a remake in 2021, however, it took them much longer to achieve the desired result. We are promised modern graphics, a redesigned interface and improved game mechanics. And all this - under a newly recorded soundtrack by Louis Godard.
