The upcoming RPG action Lords of the Fallen will be sold as a big budget game - and now they are estimated at 60-70 dollars. Mark Tyminski, president of the CI Games publishing house, said this in an interview with the Polish Press Agency. And, although the budget of the new role-playing game is not comparable to large projects, the company believes that the game will be worthy of a high price.
The head of CI Games admitted that the company sets itself ambitious goals, wanting to repeat the success of last year's hit, Elden Ring. According to preliminary forecasts, publishers expect sales of 20 million copies.
Tyminski hopes that the circulation of the new Lords of the Fallen will be several times higher than the original. And this will allow CI Games to reach a new level, both in terms of the opportunities that open up before it, and in terms of the company's market value.
Lords of the Fallen is due to debut later this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. And it will have to face competition from major releases this year like Baldur's Gate 3, Diablo IV or Starfield.
