The developers from CD Projekt RED hosted a REDstreams podcast, during which they shared some news about the Cyberpunk 2077 game.
Previously circulating information about the imminent release of versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Series X consoles was confirmed. Support for 4K dynamic resolution and ray tracing was announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X devices.
The PS5 version will additionally support DualSense controller features such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a speaker. PlayStation 5 owners will need to download the new version of the game and transfer their save file from the PlayStation 4 version.
Also, the developers introduced the Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5, which brought a lot of innovations, improvements and changes. The game offers an improved perk system, with all perk trees completely redesigned. Some perks have been removed as well as new perks, some of which bring new combat features such as functional knife throwing.
Patch 1.5 and PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are now available. The patch size is 47.1 GB. A demo version of the game is also available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
