In early September, CD Projekt announced the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, noting that it would release next year. The authors describe the novelty as a “spy thriller”, and Keanu Reeves will return to the role of Johnny Silverhand,
Some of the players may have believed that it would be available for free (as, for example, happened in the case of some expansions for the third Witcher), so the developers, represented by the head of the company's PR direction, Radek Grabowski, confirmed that it would be paid. However, cheaper than full-fledged CD Projekt games.
Also in September, the developers stated that they had no plans for major additions after Phantom Liberty, where, among other things, Sasha Gray could be heard.
CD Projekt is currently working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and several games in the Witcher universe.
